The Mission of the General Clinical Research Center program is to provide the infrastructure for patient-oriented research to be conducted at Brigham and Women's Hospital

This objective is accomplished by providing:

• Inpatient and Outpatient facilities to study patients
• Experienced research nurses and technicians to conduct study protocols
• Dietary services, including skilled metabolic kitchen staff
• Assistance in study design, data analysis and database management
• Core Laboratory to assay a wide variety of blood and urine samples
• Limited Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nursing support
• Investigational Drug Services (IDS)
• Access to a Toshiba Ultrasound Machine with technical support
